After the kitchen, the bathrooms are probably the next rooms to be considered when buying a new home. We have taken this on board and made sure that we provide, as standard, everything that you might need, both now and in the future.
One unusual feature of our homes is that we always provide a downstairs shower room. This is one of the "lifetime homes" recommendations which ensures that, if the need were to arise in the future, there would be a ground floor located shower for anyone who may not be able to easily access the facilities on the first floor.
Here is a list of equipment to be found in each bathroom at the "Caerlloi" site at Ammanford:
Family Bathroom (photos are not necessarily the units which will be installed, however they will be similar):
Oversized, "double ended" bath (4" longer and wider than a standard bath. Ideal for bathing two children at the same time)
"Waterfall" mixer bath taps set in the centre of one side of the bath (see image of single tap version)
900 mm shower base & enclosure, with exposed shower valve (less problem to access if it ever has a problem)
Low level close coupled toilet, with soft close lid, set in vanity unit, along with sink.
Waterfall mixer tap
Main bedroom en suite:
Shower tray, with screen door
Exposed shower valve, with hand held rinse head.
Vanity unit with low level close coupled toilet, with soft close lid, sink and waterfall mixer tap
Ground floor shower room:
900 mm x 900 mm shower tray with low level access (easier use for people with restricted movement), with screen door
Exposed shower valve with hand held rinsing head
Low level close coupled toilet, with soft close lid
Pedestal sink, with waterfall mixer taps
The specification of any or all of the above equipment can be altered prior to building works starting. Please let us know at an early stage if there are any changes you would like to make.
